Jay Rooney

Jay Rooney joined MIK in February of 2009, and currently serves in multiple roles including Client Relationship Management, Business Development and Project Management.

Prior to joining MIK, Jay was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, in the Prime Brokerage division.  As a consultant to hedge funds while in Prime Brokerage, Jay performed operational reviews of clients' businesses, and made recommendations to those firms to help them improve business processes and technology.  Jay also has direct hedge fund experience, having worked at Andor Capital Management from 2003-2005.  He has 16 years experience in the financial services industry, and hands-on experience in both front and back office roles, as well as in business analysis and project management. 

He received his B.A. from Boston College in Political Science and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business.
